A K-12 school in Fabens, TX is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential speech and communication services for the current school year (CSY). This full-time contract position requires a dedicated professional to support students who have experienced limited or no speech services recently, primarily at the high school level, with an option to work with K-8 students.

Schedule: Full-time preferred; part-time considered if working full days (not partial hours)
Caseload:
- Primary: High school students with an urgent needcaseload approx. 64, including backlog from missed services
- Secondary option: K-8 students with about 40 students, who have been without services for roughly one month
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language interventions aligned with IEPs
- Address communication service backlogs and ensure compliance with special education requirements
- Conduct assessments and update documentation for students with speech delays
- Collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and support teams to enhance student outcomes
Qualifications:
- Valid State Speech-Language Pathology licensure
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in K-12 settings
- Ability to manage a high caseload and maintain thorough paperwork
- Strong communication and organizational skills
